The Ant Nest has been around since August 2005 and is occasionally updated by Giles Hitchcock. It runs on WordPress, with the K2 theme and is hosted by Surpass.
I’m 26 years old and currently living in London, working as a designer for Rockstar Games. Most recently, I worked on Midnight Club: LA Remix, and before that, Manhunt 2. At previous points in my life, I have studied at Cambridge University, coming away with a BA in Computer Science and an MPhil in Architecture and the Moving Image. I have also worked as a designer at Rebellion Developments in Oxford, on Judge Dredd: Dredd versus Death and Largo Winch: Commando SAR, though that was quite a while ago now.
As you probably already noticed, I write about games and game design, but from time to time, I might veer off on a tangent. I write mostly for myself - I enjoy the process of arranging my thoughts and fully exploring ideas. I try to place high standards on what I publish, so updates are consistently sporadic.
If you wish to contact me, you can do so from this page. If you’re interested, I keep a list of games sites I enjoy reading here. You can also find me on Facebook, Flickr Steam, and on the Valve Developer Community.
